Virtual Odyssey Day 4 (They're Going to the Spa)

Here we are at work, and the Odyssey crew is going out for tea and a Spa Treatment.

If I close my eyes, I can imagine that the hum of the server in the next room is a hot tub . . .

And if it rains today, free mud baths for everyone!

I could use that! standing on my feet all day & dealing w the dust over everything from the mall remodel isnt that much fun.

I've taken so many Disney trips this year I just couldn't go for any longer than 4 days.

I was originally supposed to be there this whole week with my family but that trip got pushed up to May so I just booked a long weekend to go down and meet everyone.

Where's the kicking yourself smiley when you need it ??

I had a nice relaxing day for a change. Went out early and had my hair cut, nails done and a facial.

Then I stopped off at the market to pick up a few missing items from my grocery trip. Got home and started baking and cooking. Double Chocolate Pecan Turtle brownies & my famous German Apple Cake. Dinner was meatloaf for the gang

, Bourbon Molasses Pork Chops for me

, smashed potatoes and roasted garlic mashed potatoes, gravy, sauted portabello mushrooms with garlic, fresh green beans and corn bread.

Hey - laying in the mud doesn't work. All that happened to me was some dirty clothes and dirty looks from the neighbors. It may have helped if I didn't streak across their lawn and dive into the swamp in their backyard, but still...

i had leftovers at 11:00 after work..although it was pizza so thats ok..
