Suite Life Ending???
I just saw a commerical advertising the last Suite Life On Deck... I know the boys are 18 or something, and that sometimes means the ends of their run with Disney (though not always)... I haven't read or heard anything about this show ending... Is it? I don't care one way or the other, honestly... I'm just thinking that the Disney Channel may be in a period of flux with their shows aimed at the pre-teen market... Hannah Montana is done, Sonny With A Chance is done and now being retooled without Demi Lovato, and now possibly Suite Life...
What shows have the Disney Channel released that appeals to this market now-a-days???

I wouldn't be shocked if it's soon. I heard rumors Selena Gomez wants to leave the show

I believe Disney typically makes enough of a show to get them into syndication. That is where the money is, since there are no more production costs.
If I recall it's usually around 100 episodes, although Suite Life is less. I'm guessing that Wizards is reaching the end of it's run as well.
Edit: Just noticed Wikipedia quotes Gomez as saying the 4th season will be the last. So there you go...

I never thought of this before but what would Disney make with a Disney show on the Disney Channel?

I'm not talking about reruns, I'm talking about syndication. For example, Lizzie has been on other non-disney channels.
Disney has a history of:
a. Short lived hit shows
b. Low wages
c. Exploiting talent
With profits driving everything within TWDC, it's not hard to connect the dots.

Yeah, I was just wondering about the current shows or reruns too I guess of their own shows on the Disney channel. Sorry about that. Where do they get the money from their own shows on their own channel, just from advertising or how does that work?

Disney Channel gets most of its revenue from carrier fees from cable and satellite companies. The bigger ratings Disney shows get, the higher the fee Disney can demand to be carried on the cable/sat system.
