Default April or May?

Is there really a different with the weather or crowds between the two months? Looks like Easter falls early next year (8th) so we are thinking of end of April or early May for our next trip. Does Orlando get a lot more rain in May?

Rain is about the same both months. May is definitely hotter, often by 10-15 degrees, but crowds are larger in April. Early May has become more crowded the last 2-3 years, but it's not as bad as early April, especially around Easter.

New England school vacations are the last two weeks in April, which will make those times more crowded, but not as bad as when Easter falls around school break (like this year is going to be ).

In my experience, May is a relatively dry month.

Great question. We are going next month. We went in May of 2005. Great weather! I remember shorts and swimming every day. The crowds were definitely managable. I think it was rainy one day and rained at night. One morning was chillyprobably around 65
