Dining Recommendations for October Trip
Good day all! My wife and I are finally returning to WDW in October after a 10 year absence (don't worry, we get our regular Disney fix in Anaheim since we live in Southern California); this time with our 5 year old daughter (her 1st visit!). Anyway, we are starting our dining planning now and have some holes to fill for some of our meals. So, I figured I would poll the experts. Here is our hopeful list thus far:
Breakfast: Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, Crytal Palace, Kona Cafe, & Whispering Canyon Cafe.
Lunch: Epcot Food & Wine Festival booths, Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater, Yak & Yeti Restaurant, and something at Typhoon Lagoon.
Dinner: Cinderella's Royal Table, Le Cellier Steakhouse, Boma, 'Ohana, Whispering Canyon Cafe, and T-Rex.
We need 3 more breakfasts, 3 lunches, and 1 dinner. Any recommendations, including counter service locations?
Thanks!

I recommend Sanaa for dinner one night. Breakfasts are pretty much almost all the same. Try Tusker House in Animal Kingdom for breakfast. It is a character meal featuring Mickey, Donald, and Goofy. I think Minnie may be there too. Ohana has a good breakfast and features Lilo and Stitch. Yak & Yeti is a good choice for lunch, but I have to say Sci Fi isn't. I didn't care for Sci Fi at all. The atmosphere is wonderful, but the food was lackluster. Try 50's Prime Time Cafe in DHS. The food is wonderful, the CMs superb, the atmosphere is what you'd expect from a dinner table in the 1950's. Go for lunch though.
Counter service: I usually grab a burger or salad from Electric Umbrella or the food court in the Land Pavilion. Flame Tree BBQ has a great salad. I pick there to eat lunch every trip now.

These are our favorite counter services:
1. Wolfgang Puck Express-Downtown Disney
2. Flametree BBQ-Animal Kingdom
3. Starring Rolls-DHS
4. Epcot-UK Fish n chips
5. Cosmic Ray's MK
Although we've never eaten at these for breakfast before we are trying Rainforest Cafe-Animal Kingdom and 1900 Park Fare for breakfast next trip.

You've got some great choices there!! Some of our favourites indeed. The only thing I'd like to suggest is a character meal with Mickey and friends. Either Chef Mickey's, Tusker House at AK or Garden Grill at EP.
Have a great time and happy planning!

Your princess might like a meal at GF's 1900 Park Fare. At breakfast it's a character meal with Mary Poppins, Alice, the Mad Hatter and others; dinner has Cinderella, Prince Charming and the stepsisters. Both meals are buffets.
Also, you don't mention where you're staying, but with a 5-year old, you might consider some meals at your resort's food court and/or restaurant.
