Cell Phone Charger Trouble

Hopefully someone more gifted at cell phones/electrical stuff can help me with this. I've had my LG env2 and charger for a little over two years. I tried to charge it yesterday on an unoccupied power strip and through a wall outlet but nothing happened. I did notice the charger is a little warm to the touch. Does this mean anything, or is my charger busted?

Does a USB cable charge the phone?

An iPhone will charge via USB and the USB cable plugs int the wall wart too. That would be a way of determining if it's the phone, cable or wall wart.

It is USB powered, but none of the other USB' s I have outside my charger fit my phone.

My daughter had the env 2 and did not have any problems. As far as the charger is concerned it should be warm, that means that it is working.

My env touch had the battery replaced twice, I took it to my cell provider who tested the battery under the warranty.

I would take it to your cell provider and have them check it. They should do it for nothing if they lilke you as a customer.

I had the same thing happen with my charger for my sprint phone. It turned out it was my phone, not the battery or the charger. The port you connect the charger to the phone stopped working, take it to your phone provider and see if they can fix it for you. My contract was up in another month so I decided to just wait it out and switched providers anyway. Good luck!

My phone works with DGF's charger, so I tried it last night. It's my charger, not my phone, so I'm good there. I'll probably just share with her for now.
