Default Marathon Weekend and Golf

Quick question-we know that marathon weekend will be busy, and DH really wants to golf at some point on this trip. Does anyone know if this would be a good time to golf (on the morning of the full marathon) or if it would be to difficult to get to the golf courses. I can't seem to recall what the road situation is like.

Or is this the wrong idea? We are trying to think of the time when the parks would be full of marathon family members as that would be a great time to hit the links.

Thanks all!

"So it is."
"And freezing."
"Is it?"
"Yes," said Eeyore. "However," he said, brightening up a little, "we haven't had an earthquake lately."

My only concern would be getting to the golf course. In looking at the marathon course map, some road closures are definate. So, there may be more traffic on those other roads. Otherwise, it makes sense!
