level Savannah view. Disney's handling of this reservation has been very top notch!

Not sure though, what exactly concierge is, but I am thrilled!!

You are in for a real treat! People who stay concierge level are entitled to access to the concierge-only lounge located above the lobby for drinks, snacks, and appetizers throughout the day. A sample menu for the AKL offerings is:

    Breakfast:
Oatmeal, pineapple/orange/guava juice, muffins, bagels, other pastries, cereal

    Snacks and Afternoon Tea:
Snacks are served at the Kilimanjaro Club throughout the day, including goldfish crackers, gummy bears, fresh fruit, pretzels, nuts, scones, dried fruits, warm cookies, brownies, veggies, cheese and crackers, etc. Loose leaf tea is offered mid-afternoon.

    Lunch and Dinner:
African-style items from Boma and Jiko are often served at the Kilimanjaro Club, including ribs, meat skewers, soup, chicken wings, African beers, hummus and pita, etc. For the kids, there's peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

    Desserts and Evening:
In the evenings, you can indulge in Boma's signature desserts like pineapple cheesecake, chocolate covered strawberries, zebra domes, and blueberry tarts. Cordials, such as Baileys, Drambuie, Frangelico, Grand Marnier, are also available.

You also have access to the concierge for event planning, dining reservations...anything you can think of. Use them! They are a valuable tool. You are also able to book the Sunrise Safari for an extra cost. I've done it, and it was wonderful.

"unrise Safari Breakfast Adventure is available only to Animal Kingdom Lodge concierge guests on Sundays and Thursdays. You meet in the concierge lounge at 7:00 a.m., then departure from the lodge to Animal Kingdom is at 7:30 a.m.

Park Admission to Animal Kingdom is required.

The tour, along the Kilimanjaro Safari ride path in Animal Kingdom, lasts 30-45 minutes and includes multiple stops so that you can stand up and take pictures. Each of the animals along the way is described in great detail, since there is plenty of time.

After the Safari, you go to the Pizzafari for a breakfast buffet, which includes both standard American and African items. Each person also gets a FastPass to Kilimanjaro Safari to experience it "the regular way"."

Wow! Good for you! I've never stayed in AKL's Club Level, but I've stayed in the Club Level of the Poly and Beach Club. You'll love it!
    Nice work, pal.

I have seen ppeople mention upgrades on here and wonder the same thing?!?! We had some bad experiences last trip on 12/208. I emailed WDW to bring it to thier attn and they said call 10 days before my trip for 'reservation assistance'. We staryed at CSR (which was not a bd resort, just some bad experiences). So, I was told to call the RA person at CSR. She called ahead to AKL and set things up. She was very nice! We had a standard room book and all I asked was if possible could we have a savannah view room. I also mentioned that we had a really bad meal at the maya grill while there (it was BAD!!!) and if we could go to Boma. They also set us up reservations for Boma as well. We had a few bad sit downs last actually. When I talked to some at disney earlier as a rsult of muy complaint email - she suggested saying what we woud like(tactfully) and see if it was possible. I never expected a concierge upgrade and was not sure jsut what it was, but it sounds liek it will be hrest. Esp for breakfast before the parks. I brought things for breakfast but looks liek we will not need them.

We should be checking in ...in about 6hours now
