Default Resort adult daughter swop

I hope to spend 2 weeks at WDW, at POFQ probably, but owing to work commitments, DDs can only join me for 1 week each. DD2 will fly out with me, I will drop her off at the airport after 1 week and pick up DD1 for second week. I did something similar at an off property hotel a few years ago, "swapping" my partner for DD1, by booking room in my name only and just told the hotel about the others at check in. They were fine with this, and gave me an extra room key, but I wonder if it will be more difficult to arrange at a Disney resort, and how I should go about booking it. There will never be more than 2 of us in the room at the same time so occupancy number is not a problem.

I'd put #1 on the reservation now, then inform the front desk when they leave and #2 arrives.

If the tickets are not on the room key, I wouldn't sweat too much about even getting #2 their own key (just use #1) but if you wanted to let them know I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem.

If tickets are on the room key, then you've got a little more jugling, #2 won't be able to use #1's remaing days. They will need their own ticket(s). Still not a problem...
