Eddie Carroll Voice of Jiminy Cricket passed away at 76
Eddie Carroll the voice of Jiminy Cricket since 1973 passed away today at the age of 76. He worked on alot of theme park attractions most notably Wishes, Holiday Wishes and SpectroMagic. He will truly be missed

That news saddens me terribly. Are there any details about how he died? Was it a sudden deatho or had he been ill? I'm just curious because I come from a family where most live well into their 80s, so I still consider 76 young!! You will be missed, Mr. Caroll. God Bless.

I just heard a podcast not too long ago (Window to the Magic, maybe?) that had a great interview with him. He had been touring recently with his one-man Jack Benny show, which was apparently very good and his passion. Best wishes to him and his family. He gave a lot

Jiminy has always been of of my very favorite DIsney Characters. Loved his original voice (Cliff Edwards) and Eddie Carroll, too. They made Jiminy one of the most endearing and Iconic Disney characters ("When you wish upon a star").

This is incredibly sad news. His voice was one that always brought my wife and I joy. Just hearing him during Wishes always made us so incredibly happy, and brought chills.
He will be dearly missed.
