3D movies
If a movie like Toy Story 3 is made in 3D, does that mean you must wear the glasses to watch the movie? Will they be showing it conventionally as well? My twins are three and love the Toy Story movies, and Toy Story 3 was going to be their first trip to the movie theater. But if they have to wear those glasses, that's just not going to work with them.
Thanks.

Yeah, you do have to wear the glasses for the 3d version. Most movies released in 3d have a conventional showing, too. I would guess TS3 will have that, but I'm not sure.

Thanks Chris. I have to assume there will be a conventional release of Toy Story 3...for the very reason I'm bringing this up. Lots of kids are going to want to see it, and if they're like mine, they won't keep those glasses on! Then again, they're probably young enough that not having the glasses won't bother then. But I just read today that the movie theaters are jacking up the prices of 3D movies big time! So, it becomes an economic thing as well. (I'm old enough to remember going to the 99 cent theaters. Wow, was that the day.)

That is my issue with the 3D movie. The glasses at the theater are one size. I have tried to contact RealD multiple times to see if I could market a child size. I went to Imax to see Avatar. They have 3 sizes of glasses: toddler, children, and adults.
