Question Lymphedema

I am asking this for my wife who is in remisssion from breast cancer, but has slight lymphedema in one arm. Anyone who has this - has this been a big problem on a trip to WDW?

We realize that there are considerations with flying, but does this cause issues with long (or even short) lines? Did you always wear a compression sleeve? How about issues on any specific attractions? Thanks in advance.

Default Lymphedema

My sister has lymphedema in one arm also. She didn't have any trouble on our last trip. She would wear her compression sleeve during the day when we were out and about at the parks, unless there was a ride we might get wet on.

Have a great trip.

I have lymphedema in my right leg as a result of cancer-related surgery. I asked the lymphedema specialists at the hospital where I'm receiving treatment, and they had all kinds of good ideas for travel and WDW.

As you already know, air travel can be a trigger. Does your wife have a therapist? It might be a good idea to ask what additional precautions to take. Most of us aren't on our feet as much as we are at Disney and they might have some good ideas.
