Default Busch Gardens Fl

Just wondered what your thoughts were on this park thinking of going for a couple days after our Disney stay- and yes I know not like Disney. My DS6 and I like thrill rides and animals so wanted to try something a little different. Thanks for any help.

I haven't been to BG in Tampa for years but from what I remember it was nearly the same park as the one in Williamsburg which I have been to many times and recently. It's a very nice and clean park with alot of fun things to do.

When I try to explain the difference between WDW and BG I find the biggest difference is the attractions. I find while most of WDW rides are family friendly most of the BG rides are either for the smaller children or the big thrill rides. This isn't a bad thing but don't go there thinking you will see alot of POC, HM or Jungle Cruise. BG thrill rides surpass WDW but if you have a child that is too big for the kiddy rides but doesn't like rollercoasters you may have a problem.

As do most people on these posts - we love Disney. However, I'll also admit that we really enjoy some of the other attractions, too!!! We have been to BG Tampa a few times, and we enjoy the park. They have some great thrill rides, especially some of their coasters. Sometimes we prefer a bit less 'theme' and a bit more excitement, like the BG coaster Shiekra. The animal area at BG is very nice - perhaps along the lines of Animal Kingdom. They also offer some very nice little truck excusions where you can go out to get close to the animals at BG. If you are thinking about trying BG, I'd recommend it.

Thank you. My DS6 loves roller coasters and animals. I think we might try this park on our next trip.
