    Default My surprise trip poem for my kids

    Well, we are waking the kids up bright and early tomorrow morning to head to Disney World. They have absolutely no idea! I just wrote this poem and printed it on Christmas themed paper. I will have my DD7 read it for herself and then have her read it to my DS4 to tell him the surprise. Here it is....what do you think?..... or

    "Rise and shine to this MAGICAL DAY...
    A Wonderful surprise is only seconds away.
    Your wildest dreams will soon be here...
    So pack your bags because fun is near.
    Your Mom and Dad love you so....
    And we know where you always ask to go.
    The airplane is waiting, so hurry, get dressed ...
    We’re visiting Mickey, Minnnie and all of the rest.
    It’s Christmas in Disney World, and there’s snow on Main Street...
    We’re leaving RIGHT NOW for this MAGICAL TREAT!!!!"

    I JUST got offline confirming airline reservations and passholder rate room for a surprise trip for my 6-year old daughter. We leave Dec 16th - two weeks from today. I even got awesome airfares non-stop from Dallas to Orlando for $149! I dont know if I can hold it for 2 weeks but after reading your post I'm going to try - GREAT idea for being a COMPLETE surprise - it's a dad/daughter trip while mom and baby sister stay home so she is going to be PUMPED getting to go with just Dad (no baby sister LOL) to Disneyworld at Christmas time! My wife thinks I'm a little crazy for such spur of the moment but she cant wait to see her reaction! Hope you guys have an AWESOME trip.
    Christmas trip again!! Dec 5-12, 2011 - first time for 3yr old to go along!
