Christmas Tree in Resort Room
Does anyone know where we could get a Christmas Tree set up and waiting for us in our resort when we check in on December 19th?

Disney Florist would be the only place I know of that could do that.

You might find the Disney Florist option to be a bit pricey. One year, we stayed in a cabin at Fort Wilderness over Christmas. I bought, and brought with us, a small, table top tree that we set up and decorated. (In fact, I still set up this same tree every year in my front hall!) We drove that year so had room for extra items. You could always ship a small tree to yourself at your resort - of course, you'd have to set it up after your arrival but that could be fun as well!

I packed a small table top tree in my carry-on
and put it up in my room at WL in 2002. Small set of mini lights and some mini ornaments and it was so cute. I had no room for it when we left ( too many Christmas gifts and souveniers ) that I just left it the room. I'm sure either the maid or the next people in that room got to enjoy it. I spent about 20 bucks on the whole set up so I didn't feel bad leaving it behind. Now that I think about it, I might do it again next month at POFQ.

Just Pass It On
Years ago we spent a week at AKL and then 4 days on DCL. I surprised my DH with not only a small tree but garland with pretty bows and the whole works! I decorated the tree with an animal theme and made ornaments for about two months before the trip. I had to do all of it when he was asleep so it remained a surprise.
I knew that it was a one-use project so I posted on the boards and passed all of it on to another AKL family before we left the resort. We sort of swapped places with them as they were on DCL while we were at AKL. It was great to share the joy with another family. Perhaps you might be able to coordinate something with someone else. I believe our tree and all made three or four celebrations that year!
Have a great trip!!!

We brought 3 trees down the year we were at the Yacht Club. We had one room, our daughter another and my sister a third room. DD was in on the decorating, but we sure surprised my sister.
Bought 3 small horrible looking trees at Dollar store - maybe not even a foot high. They fluffed up amazingly well. Put a different color scheme - lights, bows, garlands - on each tree. Glued all the stuff on so it'd travel. They were cute. Had less than $10 in each tree.
We also had other decorations - fabric wreaths (strips tied on bent out hangars), paper chains, etc. We left the decorations in a box with a note to the Mousekeeping that the decorations were theirs to keep or donate, as they wished.
You could ship yourself a tree. If your tree has a light string be sure to pack an extension cord.
