Annual Passholder Appreciation Day - Dec. 5th!

December is a good month for AP's to visit Downtown Disney® - especially you shoppers!

So why is December 5 such a good day to start - or finish - your holiday shopping? Because that's the day that APs enjoy early shopping opportunities at the World of Disney® store. From 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., you'll enjoy incredible discounts of up to 50% off select items, plus door busters and "Donald's Deals." The first 1,000 shoppers at the World of Disney® store at the Walt Disney World® Resort will receive a complimentary VinylmationTM gift. Shoppers at the World of Disney® store at the Walt Disney World® Resort will also have the opportunity to meet and greet Santa Goofy.

Disney fans are wild about Vinylmation, a collectible series of vinyl Mickey figures available at select Disney Theme Park locations. Each collectible series contains 3" figures in 11 "revealed" designs and 1 "mystery chaser" design that are packaged in blind boxes. You won't know which design you've got until you've open the box! Vinylmation figures are also available as limited edition 9" figures. Join us during the World of Disney® store Annual Passholder Event on December 5, 2009 and receive 20% off your purchase of any vinylmation figures (that's in addition to your 10% Annual Passholder discount)! Annual Passholders who are looking to be magically transformed into Princesses or Pirates will receive 20% off, Dec. 5-12 at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in the Downtown Disney® area and Annual Passholders who are interested in transforming into a Pirate will receive 50% off through Dec. 31 at The Pirates League in the Magic Kingdom® Park.

The Pirate League offer is good on First Mate, Empress and Captain packages from 11/6/09 to 1/3/10 for all resort guests and DVC members. From 11/23/09 to 1/3/10 the offer opens up for AP and Florida Resident ticket holders. Proof of elibility is required.

Very Cool but I was there last year for a similar promotion and Disney didn't offer transportation to DTD for the early bird opening
