TTA Closed 10 More Days
The WDW website now shows that the TTA will be in refurbishment until Friday September 11. Up until sometime last week, it was listed as re-opening on September 1.

Most likely it will not reopen until SM is open according to some sources. Don't be surprised if the date changes again as it gets closer.

Which is why I don't understand why they keep pushing the date back. If it's ultimately going to reopen with SM anyway, why did they bother giving it an earlier date? Because it looks lazy on their part to have a perfectly normal working attraction not running simply because it runs through an attraction that currently is being refurbished?

I will be so bummed! Too many of my favorite rides are down this time. TTA coming back up before this trip was one of the deciding factors of making it a go.

The Cast Member information site says TTA will reopen on September 12th.

It's a great ride to find respite from walking around in the heat and it also gives you a great perspective of Tomorrowland and has as fast of a load time as you'll ever see. I feel bad for the people who are going to miss it on their trip, but I guess refurb needs to be done.

Bummer...
I missed the TTA a lot in May, and was really hoping to have it back in Sept...hopefully the 11th will happen, then I will get my ride on it!

I would call it being or looking lazy.
Actually I believe it has more to do with safety concerns and secrecy than anything else.

I've been hearing the 12th myself! My DW is stessing cause she enjoys TTA. God I hope its open for my sake so I don't have to hear it!
