Default Teardrop?

When Anthony and I were in disney for three weeks, we checked on the "teardrop" in MK numerous times. We asked many cast members about character meets there and all told us they are no longer meeting there. Anyone know anything about this?

The teardrop is located in Toontown between the Judge's Tent and the Railroad. Just past the smoking section. It is used sometimes for characters in training, but is very hit or miss. Of all the times we have been by there we have only met characters there once. Good Luck.

Sorry I didn't read your message all the way through. But still we haven't seen many characters there.

I met quite a few characters at the teardrop in September of '08 but that was the only time out of my three trips that I have seen characters there

The Teardrop is still used. However, many (if not most) of the CMs at MK will not know about the Teardrop, as it isn't really publically known.

You have encountered one of my biggest frustrations with CM'S although 95% a very helpful sometimes they will tell you things especially about the characters that they really have no idea about. We run into this a whole lot.
i.e.
-That character no longer appears (When they do).
-That meeting area does not exisit (When it does).
Granted they are just trying to help most of the time because they do not know any better, but sometimes I think they say those things because they do not want to check themselves. This has happened to us several times.

The Teardrop is still active.

We stop by the teardrop everytime we're in MK, and we've only seen characters there like three times! I think the promise of the Teardrop brings in more business for Toontown than the actual rides! LOL!

Yeah really! Now that I'm kidna well older than I was my first trip I don't really ride the barnstormer or go in donald's boat...I just go through the houses, check out the hall of fame (but if the fairies are there then I won't be doing that any more) and I go to the teardrop!!!
