Did anyone not see this one coming when Disney introduced the QSDP? I figured they'd tier the free dining promo.

Resorts & Timing
I had a questions on the places this is avaliable, it said resorts were limited where this is offered.
Does anyone know exactly what resorts it is avaliable at?
Also I had a question if your vacation began before December 17th but extended after that date how does that work, would you get the free dining the whole time or not at all or for only a part of the trip?

Holy Micky!!!!
So, if I am staying at value and wanted to upgrade to standard dining (with 1 table service), the price difference would be about $10 per person per day, yes?

Will you post a sticky...
when the offer becomes available to everyone? I could sign up for a disney visa but I'm hoping you are right and it becomes avail. to all next week. We are booked Nov. 29 - Dec. 6th at OKW 2bedroom villa. We got a nice discount pin on room only but I would like to see if it would work out a little less for the DDP. I would be thrilled. Keep us all posted please. Thanks.

Soooo....is this really any different than the free dining promotion (since we're staying at a moderate anyway)?
I mean, we have seven days at POR starting October 3rd, and so have the Basic Dining Plan for free. The only difference here is that it would allow us to get free dining later in the season, right?
2002 - 2022: 20+ visits (POR, BW, All Stars, VWL, CSR, BLT, BC, SSR, CB, Dolphin, OKW, Poly, offsite x8)

Next up - January 2023 short trip! We just want to try that 50th Anniversary chocolate monstrosity at Mexico!

Excuse me for yelling, but I AM SO EXCITED!! We were able to save about $1500 by booking this Visa special this morning. Because I have 2 Disney Visa accounts, I was able to book one package for me, my husband, and daughters, and another for mom and sister who will be sharing a room and traveling with us. This special saves us a ton of money! We get the best of both worlds--- 2 nights at the Swan with the reportedly fabulous Heavenly beds + great location AND 5 nights at the Wilderness Lodge with free dining those 5 nights! We are going to have a fantastic time.

That's awesome! The fact you have 2 Disney Visa cards brings up a question for me. This promotion says for "Disney Visa Card Holders." Does this mean you must use a Disney Visa to book, or can you prove you have a Disney Visa and use another card? I am traveling with three other friends and booking 2 separate rooms. My friend will be paying for the other room, but she doesn't have the Disney card. Can we both book now or will we have to wait when the offer becomes available to the public?

I know at least the deposit needs to be paid for with a Disney Visa card. You could book your Disney Visa special now and wait until Sunday morning (I read a report that the discount would be offered to the general public then) to book your friend's room. Good luck!
