Default Cruise with 3 year old

Can anyone tell me what is available on the cruise for young children? We are trying to decide if the cruise will be worth it for a child that is 3 years old.

Disney Cruiseline is very family friendly. You will have a great time. I have sailed on The Wonder. What an elegant ship. There is entire deck just for kids.
Boarding starts about 11:30 am. Check in at kids table while waiting to board. If your child is a girl, bring a princess costume with you. Get a Mickey wake up call in the morning.

Are you thinking of a 3 or 4 day cruise, or the week-long cruise. There are character meet and greats on all itineraries, but the weeklong cruises also have actitivies such as a tea party with Alice and a character breakfast.

The DCL site itself has lots of information about cruising for guests of every age, including video podcasts.

It can also depend heavily on the personality of the child.

If your little one is a little more outgoing and not severely attached, there's a kids club where you can drop them off.We met other couples in the lab during family time where they said their kids wouldn't come out of the kids club.

My four year old wouldn't leave our side, however we still had a great time. Plenty to do for families together. (Bingo, kite making, game shows, nightly theatre shows, movies, pools, movies @ the pool etc.)

When we went we only had my oldest at the time. He was 2 1/2 at the time and, he had a blast. We didn't drop him off at the kids things but kept him with us. I wouldn't think twice about bringing my boys on the cruise again. I know they can and would be kept busy having fun.
