Parks as Busy as Before
I was wondering if anyone that has visited the World recently noticed any drop in park attendance?

Since when?
Our first visit with our kids was in May of 2002; Just 9 months after 9-11, and even though it was Memorial Day week, we didn't think it was overly crowed. However a lot more people are traveling now so I do think crowds have picked back up in the last few years.

wouldn't "no drop in attendance" and "about the same" be the same answer to your question? If it didn't drop, its about the same

We went to DHS on a non-Fantasmic day in the rain and it was crazy-busy. We left after a few hours and enjoyed the rainy-day activities at our resort instead.

My Girlfriend and I went from May 17th- May 19th and honestly we did not wait in line one time during our trip to both Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios.

We were there May 7 - 15, and it definately wasn't any busier than last year, maybe a bit lighter

We just got back from a Memorial Day weekend trip and I must say I thought all parks but MK were manageable. Epcot WS was not bad. It was actually low crowds. Soarin' and Test Track both had about a 60 minute wait by the end of the day. Animal Kingdom was getting busy when we left around 11 in the morning. DHS was much busier during the Star Wars weekend, but on Monday, there were practically no crowds. ToT and RnRC both had under a thirty minute wait in the middle of the afternoon. Like I said, MK was BUSY BUSY BUSY. Much busier than last year.

DU & I felt 5/3-5/8 was quite busier than the year prior. The end of the week is always hairy with parents taking long weekends. The weather was also warmer than expected and we cooled off at the pool and in a/c midday. Looking forward to November & MVMCP with the family.

Actually, I thought it was busier this year than last year! we went July 2008, and again this May. I'm not sure if the park was actually busier, or if the crowd was just ruder, but crowd-wise, it was less pleasant than before.
