Resort Photopass session?

Has anyone ever done one of the private photopass sessions at the GF before? We're thinking of making these our engagement photos since us poor college students can't afford the $330 for the official engagement photos.

Anyone have any experience with this?

30 days before you want this session, you can book a private photopass portrait session and 5 different resorts, GF, Poly, BC, AKL, & WL. For a fee, the photographer will take lots of pictures of you around the resort. I called yesterday for more info and if we pre-order the PP CD for $100, then the GF session is $70. Not sure how much it is if we don't pre-order the CD. We get the photographer, a photo package, and the CD with all the photos on them. They can't be edited but that's okay. We wanted to get the PP CD anyway so now we'll have all off our trip photos for $170 instead for paying $330 just for the official engagement photos. So I was just looking for some people who have done it before!
