Hi Everyone;
Yesterday we went to Animal Kingdom it was burning hot but we had a blast. We took a safari first thing there was nothing much out yet. We tried the Rapids for the first time and got soaked. Then headed off to Flights of Wonder what beautiful birds. I loved both Falcons. We also visited the conservatory and thought it was cute that they had a "cow" in the petting zoo. It's just as funny as when we went to the Calgary Zoo and there was a "moose" when we had a family of moose in our back yard before we left for this trip!
We were debating about whether to go on a second safari and we were sure glad we did. Everything was out, the vultures were lined up in a row with their wings out like they were posing. We captured a beautiful picture of a lion. We were so happy!
We went home and rested for awhile ate dinner then headed off to DD, and caught the 9:45pm show of "Star Trek" what an awesome movie. More like Star Wars I thought then the slow moving Star Trek. People were going in as we leaving about midnight. It's well worth it to go to this theater it has 24 screens and the seats are high backed and very comfortable with lots of leg room. They also have cinnamon pretzels! Soft and delicious!
Today we are heading to Ripley's Believe or Not that should be fun! Then tonight we are going to Capone's Dinner Theatre. Which should be a blast!
