Default Best Arcade??

Ok,

I know this might sound kinda silly, (especially because I am 34 yrs old), but I still love to toss away a few quarters in an arcade now and then.

So my question is this...(since I have not been sine 2001) which hotel now has the best arcade? Where did you folks have the most fun and why??

Any info would be appreciated.

Coronado Springs actually has two arcades. That's gotta count for something.

CSR has only one now,it's near the pool.I think that the one in El Centro was where Rix is now.I really like the one at Pop Century.Remember when the Contemporary had the huge Arcade downstairs?

I vote for Pop Century too. If you don't count Disney Quest.

We've stayed in several resorts and usually pass thorugh the arcades once or twice...but I've never really noticed any of them being all that much better than the others. If my memory serves me correctly thou my son did seem to esepcially enjoy the one at the CR (seems like its up on the third or foruth floor instead of on the bottom).

Well, other than Coranado I can only suggest Disney Quest. If you have the water parks and more option, you can get in there as well. Then you dont have to spend any extra quarters and have the largest arcade in WDW at your disposal

We love the arcade at Pop Century, too! I love the "credit cards" that you load with cash, and then swipe at each game! They have MarioKart, too! We always spend a couple of hours here each trip.

Love your user name, BTW, GhostHost!

The arcades are pretty homogeneous for the most part and I think they all have the swipe cards now, but Pop does seem to have more of a selection.

Well Disneyt Quest is really an arcade on steroids, but as far as the arcades at resorts, my two teens really liked the one at Pop Century both time we have stayed there. I can't say for myself, since DW and I were relaxing at the pool while they were in the arcade. But they kept coming back for more $$$, so they must have been having fun!

Another vote for the arcade at POP!!! My DS10 is a little arcade snob so we always have to try out every one of them to see which ones are up to his "standards". He loves the arcade at POP and ask if we can go to it even when we aren't staying there....lol....he can't survive a WDW vacation without a trip to that arcade....he is so funny.
Also as a side note, the arcade at Poly isn't very good at all. I think we stayed there for a whole five minutes and he was asking to leave...A first for him..

The Beach Club has a very nice archade, it has many games to choose from, while the archade at the Boardwalk is very small.

I've only seen the Polys and WL's lately, and they were both nice. My dad and dh had a great time in the one at the Poly last year for a good hour. I used to love the one at the CR when I was a kid, it was huge we always spent hours in there every trip as kids.

The Pop hands down. WL is too small. Not enough variety.
