When to go?
I am thinking of planning a trip for fall 2010. I am not sure whether to go the end of October or at Thanksgiving week. Is one better than the other crowd wise or weather wise? I have to plan way ahead due to work and all that stuff. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

It's probably going to be busier Thanksgiving week, especially the holiday and that weekend.

Thanksgiving week is pretty crowded, but MK is also pretty crowded during the week of Halloween, especially with the MNSSHP. I would still vote for the last week of October.

We didn't feel the crowds were that horrid when we were there over Halloween, so I would definitely choose that week over Thanksgiving week any time.

Don't know how you feel about September but that is the best time to go. The crowds are very light and the park is decked out for Halloween. They usually offer free dining plan during this time also. Its my favorite time to go.

I would love to go in September, but my daughter is in high school and we can't take her out. They have fall break the last week of October. I have been the week before Christmas before and it was great, but the way the calendar fallls for 2010 we can't go then either. Looks like October 2010 is when we will go.

We are going on Fall Break 2010 as well, looking forward to MNSSHP.
