I've been wanting to eat here forever but it's always closed as we're in WDW only at the slower times of year. Sadly, I assume it will be closed again this trip - 10/22 to 28. Any little glimmer of hope from someone who perhaps just came back and saw it open??

We're going at the same time and would be really happy to see it open. Unfortunately we've only seen that about twice in the last 10 years.

This restaurant has never been open on any of our visits to MK. And we really like taco salads too. Maybe next time!

We never see it open either. I wish they have it open sometimes in the fall. I'd love to have a taco salad.

We ate there back in 2000 or 2001, and I do recall enjoying the taco salad.
Apparently it was open for lunch on the Saturday after Thanksgiving 2007. Unfortunately we did not get to WDW until later that evening -- I was disappointed to read in the Times Guide that we had missed it!

I love it here! I have a friend who was there 2 weeks ago and he said it was open. I'm trying to get him to go back before I get there next week to tell me if it's still open!

I hate to burst your bubble, but we just got back (9/27 to 10/3) and it was not open. I made a point to check as I wanted to try it. No such luck!

I was there this past March 08 and it was open. Got the taco salad and it was just as good as I remember it before.
I hope that it's open for you and that you are able to also enjoy the taco salad.

They were not open 9/26-9/29. I believe it is only open during peak seasons, which are exactly the times we try to avoid. We did catch it open on our honeymoon and thoroughly enjoyed it. Neither of us got the taco salad, but the taco meal we got was huge, it was easily one of the best values for a counter service option that I have seen.

I love taco salad!!! I hope this place is open when I'm there next month (won't get my hopes up though). Taco salad is something different to try in wdw... someone mentioned that Pecos Bill's has taco salad, that would be awesome!
