Question French Fries At Marrakesh

I have a picky meat and potatoes only teenager...Can he get fries with his meal at Marrakesh even though they're not on the menu?

I don't know about fries. We've eaten at Marakesh before and loved it, but I don't think I'd recommend it for a picky eater. What about rice? Does he like plain rice?

I know its not really for a picky eater, however I though he would be okay with the beef kabobs because its basically just grilled meat....he will eat "plain rice" with nothing in it sometimes....Everyone gets to pick a restaurant we want to try and Marrakesh was actually my pick...I've considered switching to Coral Reef but was hoping he could find something to eat

Default French Fries

They have french fries for kids at the cafe outside. I'm sure they will accomodate you at the restaurant, but even a kid can't eat fries the whole trip. How old is he?

I can't think of a single Disney restaurant that will not go out of thier way to make sure you get what you want. Good Luck! Marrakesh is a great place to eat. One of my faves.

The CMs at Marrakesh were VERY accomodating... I would bet dollars to donuts that they'll get fries for your DS if that's what he'll eat. The rice they serve is mixed with veggies but I'm sure that they would have some plain rice back in the kitchen.

Enjoy!

Default French Fries At Marrakesh

DH is a very picky eater and he was fine eating at Marrakesh. The kabobs are very plain and he liked them. The other thing we both liked is the bread at Marrakesh. They serve small round white bread that is plain and delicious and they serve butter with it. It was so good that we asked for another loaf and they brought a few loaves and more butter to our table. If your son is a bread eater he will be happy with kabobs and bread (i hope).

You can get fries at Marrakesh. They are available on request. Don't give up a chance to eat at Marrakesh because of a picky eater. Try the lemon chicken or the beef kabobs. If he doesn't like that, there's always the turkey leg cart.

Actually after I showed him the menu yesterday, he said he would eat the lemon chicken....he's not as picky as he used to be but I wasn't sure about couscos and the other sides...he is 14 years old and when I told him they have belly dancers he is just fine with this restaurant so we will be keeping this ressie!

I guess you didn't have to be worried about french fries after all

Couscous is great...it's actually a pasta, but looks like a very delicate rice. I think he'll enjoy it. If he is the kind of picky eater that doesn't like little pieces of stuff in his food then just ask the wait staff to make the couscous plain without the veggies in it. But, I'd give him a chance to try it, I think he'll be pleasantly surprised.

As a side note: Couscous is now a mainstay in our family's diet after trying it on one of our visits to Marakesh many years ago. It's the easiest thing to make, heat up water or broth, stir in the couscous, take off the heat and let sit for a few minutes, stir with a fork and it is ready. You can add in chopped meats, veggies, raisins, spices, etc.
