We always go from Sat (morning) - Sat (afternoon) 7 nights but was wondering about going evening Fri to Sat (no not for 1 night) for 8 nights. Thinking of heading down Fri evening after work. 1) Are Airline prices cheaper when leaving in the evening? 2) Also can you check into the Disney resort at anytime, I am guessing you can? 3) Do you just have to let them know that it would be a late arrival?

Typically, Friday evening flights aren't too cheap as many business travelers fly then, however, I've gotten the same price on Friday evenings as on Saturday mornings on multiple occasions.

Yes, you can check in at any time. On our last trip, we got in very late (after midnight), and I had my travel agent note that we'd have a late arrival. When we got there, the place was pretty deserted, but they had basically already checked us in, they just had to make an adjustment to add our credit card for charging privileges, so it was the quickest/smoothest check-in that we've ever had.

I guess if it can be about the same price as Saturday morning I may do it. It may be nicer with faster check-in in evening and could start of with a full Saturday instead of a half day if we left Saturday morning. I won't know for a while since we want to go end of Sept beginning of Oct 2009 and can't check airline prices.
