Question What's your favorite way to take a break?

Good Evening Folks,

Had a little question for all of you...

What's your favorite way to take a break in the theme parks?

This could be anything...for example...I've seen a few folks snoozing in the Hall of Presidents.

As for me...I love putting my feet up and kicking back on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority...it's a great little ride day or night, and if you ask nicely and there's no line, the cast member will usually let you go around a second time.

I have to agree with Trans Authority Transit. I love to take a break and relax on it. The whole family loves to ride it and check out the parts with Space Mountain and Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin.

Here's another vote for the TTA. We love to ride it over and over again! It is so peaceful and the tired feet love it!!

Default Sitting on a bench in Canada

For me, it's sitting on a bench with a near the Canadian Pavillion, or riding Spaceship Earth.

at EPCOT I love the looooong Ellen's Universe of Energy ride for a good break, DH says the MK one is Carosel of Progress, HS, any of the shows or the Sci Fi, and AK is riding the rapids over and over, to not only cool off, but the ride is relaxing

I personally enjoy taking my breaks inside of the 3-D shows. That way I don't miss the attractions/Disney Magic, and I can rest my legs so I'm prepared to walk more around the park.

My DD is 5 and my DS is 3 so they can't ride all the rides so we switch off watching the kids while the rest of the group hits a ride. This break is usually accompanied by popcorn or ice cream!

Default Even our breaks have that Disney Magic

After reading numerous posts I can concede that even our breaks still contain that Disney Magic, how cool is that !

breaks - do people actually take breaks at WDW?

For me, it's probably got to be sitting in the shade somewhere easting a Mickey bar.

My response is very similar-just substitute Dole Whip Float for Mickey Bar.

1) It is tough to argue with either TTA or HoP.
2) I used to like sitting on the grass by CP, and people watching.
3) But, presto, no more accessible grass.

We enjoy riding the TTA over and over for a nice break and my Dad has been known to use any dark show to take a nap but prefers TTA where he can stay awake (usually!). If we're at the other side of the MK or at any other park we usually find a shady spot and have a snack (Dole Whip floats at MK ; ice cream or just bottles of water at the other parks )

Us too - we are usually just sitting someplace with a Dole Whip and people watching.

Usually our short breaks would consist of shopping and snacking! DW was a Disney Cammando!!

But now with DS1.5 we just lounge around where ever we can or just make short non-precise park trips to make it easy!

WDW just 48hours away!

Ready or not here we come!!

One of the best moments of our last trip was when my mother and I were waiting for my son and sister to finish riding Tower of Terror and Rockin Roller Coaster at MGM, we grabbed some treats and coffee from the bakery, sat down on a bench and people watched for a bit....the look of amazement on faces and the excitement of the children is just awesome
