Vero Beach - March 2009 Questions

I'm considering making a reservation for the first week of March 2009 at VB, but have a couple of questions.
1. How easy / hard will it be to get a 2BR that time of year at the 7 month window?
2. It will be a spring break trip for my college-aged son and his roommates. Will they enjoy this resort?

I'm very interested in feedback on this topic, too. I'm thinking the crowds could be a tad lighter this year with the Dodgers moving their spring training to Arizona. Dodgers baseball was a big reason Vero is so busy in March. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
