Default Chef de France: First night

Hi,
DW and I are going back to WDw in Sept with free DDP.
We were thinking of going to Chef de France for first night there and staying in World Showcase for evening. We have had lunch there but not dinner. What are your thoughts?

Default Chefs de France

We found it ok. I found the tables too close together and it was very noisy. Food was ok. I might go again but would prefer Le Cellier or the Rose and Crown.

We had some great lobster bisque there but the rest of the meal was just ok for my dh and I. Our waiter was very good and talked to us a lot about France which was really nice. You do sit very close to the other tables.

We loved Chefs de France. The lobster bisque is the best!! It was a little loud, but we were kind of glad, because we had our 2 year old with us. We didn't have to worry so much about her disturbing others around us.

It's our favorite,in fact when we go in Sept. for free dining,we're going twice.Get the duck and even though it's not on the DDP we always order the Escargot's for an appetizer.

We went last week for the first time in several trips because we had not really enjoyed it. We thought it was great and will definitely go back in November!
