June 4, 1924 – Actor Dennis Weaver was born in Joplin, Missouri. He would supply the voice for Abner in Disney’s animated feature “Home on the Range” and appear in The Wonderful World of Disney’s “Gallagher Goes West” series.
June 4, 1968 – Actor Scott Wolf, the voice of Scamp in Disney’s 2001 “Lady and the TrampII: Scamp’s Adventure,” was born in Boston, Massachusetts. (TV fans may recognize him from the series Party of Five and Everwood.)
June 4, 1990 – The WDW Dolphin Hotel (operated by Sheraton) opened to guests.
June 4, 1990 – The “Bengal Barbecue” fast-food facility opened in Adventureland in Disneyland.
June 4, 1991 – The “Company D’ cast member store opened in the Team Disney Building at WDW.
June 4, 1992 – Euro Disneyland reported it had 1.2 million guests since its opening.
June 4, 1993 – The Disney/Touchstone film “Life with Mikey” was released.
June 4, 1993 – The Disney/Hollywood Pictures film “Guilty as Sin” was released.
June 4, 1999 – WDW’s “Adventures with Winnie the Pooh” attraction opened in Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom.
June 4, 2000 – “Cirque du Soleil, the internationally acclaimed producers of permanent and touring shows around the world including “La Nouba” at Downtown Disney West Side, held auditions in Orlando, Fl.
