Do you have to have a reservation # to make adr's?

Provided you are making a singular reservation 180 days out from that particular ADR, then no, you do not need a reservation number. However, if you wanted to book several ADRs on the 180+10 rule for guests staying on-site, you would need a ressie number.

I'm not sure about the 180+10 situation, but I know for a fact you can book ADRs without a reservation number. You can provide them with a phone number and that will keep all the ressies connected. I did this in Oct 07 and Feb 07.

When I made my ADR's I was asked what resort I was staying at & what the check in date was but they didn't ask for a ressie #.
