Default Stroller Rental Price increase?!?

I was just about to send an email to a friend recommending a double stroller rental for her older children, but I couldn't remember if the price last year was $14, or $16 a day with a multi-day purchase. So I looked it up... Anyone else notice that the multi-day price for rental is up to $27 A DAY!?!? Are you kidding me??? Anyone else think that's a little pricey? We're going for 10 days... We need to budget another $270?? That's a whole other park ticket!! My twins are 6 and too big for a standard stroller, but too small for a day on foot in the parks. I was willing to part with the $160 from last year (and I thought that was a bit much) this is outrageous however!

Welcome to the "magic" of Ogre (I mean Iger) and corporate greed.

Yes it is crazy. My 6 year old also needs one... so I cancelled one of our character meals to help cover the cost. I gotta have it though, like you.

Thanks for the link, and sorry for the duplicate post.... I read the entire thread.

Still flabbergasted though... More than a car rental, 10 day park pass, or a plane ticket, for a bloody stroller!

Just glad I found out before I was held hostage in the 95 degree heat with cranky, exhausted 6 year-olds. And all after the privilege of spending $6000 on our wonderful family vacation. I would not have been feeling the magic!

We'll be schlepping our own... Heck, I'll buy a new one and re-sell it on Craig's List once we get home!

Kinda feeling like I'm getting less for more $$ every year at Disney...
