Favorite Themed Resort?
OK all, what is your favorite themed resort of all times?
Hard for me to choose between Wilderness Lodge and the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

I love the bright airyness of the Boardwalk but the Wilderness Lodge just blows me away. I actually feel transported to another place, well except for the heat :lol: as I walk through the doors.

Animal Kingdom Lodge
But is is the only resort I have stayed at so far. I am going to visit some of the other ones on my next trip.

My favorites are the Polynesian and Animal Kingdom Lodge. I LOVE most of the Disney resorts but I have to say that I feel like I'm coming 'home' whenever I set foot inside the lobby of the Poly.

Although the Contemporary will always be a special place to me, I think I am going to have to go with Animal Kingdom. I have never stayed there, but after visiting it, I must admit I think it has the best theme to fit with it's name. The ironic part is that the most Disney themed hotels seem to be the Values. Don't see to many 3 story Disney characters at the other hotels.

I really love the Grand Floridian. The red rooftops and the laid-back elegance get me every time.

Hands down AKL. WL is amazing but its like AKL took it whole 'nother level! I saw someone else on here say staying at AKL is like getting two vacations in one! It really does have this way of taking you "there". LOVE IT

WL - Best theme
Hi everyone!
My choice is WL!
I LOVE that resort!
It's everything from the scent as you step inside, to the sounds of the creek in the lobby and the attention to detail down to the smallest item. And the theme continues through every facility of the resort, the hallways, the guestrooms and out on the balcony!
