Default Ticket upgrade (park hopper) question...

Say I am planning to go to WDW for 2 days. I purchase a two-day base ticket ($148.04) and add the park hopper option ($45) for a total of $193.04 .

If I decide I want to stay an additional day, when I upgrade my ticket, do I need to pay an additional $45 for park hopping on the third day or will it already be included on my ticket because I purchased it initially?

In other words, will my third day cost $68.16 (the difference between a two-day and three-day base ticket) or will it cost $113.16 (the difference between a two-day and three-day base ticket plus $45 more to hop that third day?)

Thanks in advance, there is a "discussion" going on between myself and DH and I finally said we'll toss it out to the experts!

No, once a ticket is park hopping enabled, ALL days are park hopping.

I believe the park hopping charge covers all the days. It's $45 to hop for any number of days. The no expire option get more expensive the more days you add.
