I just got back to Boston from a long weekend in the parks with my Dad and my sister(16) - We've been going since 1996 at least once a year. We had seasonal passes for a few years, so we took a lot of short trips.
We got rooms at Coronado Springs (first time out of the value resorts, except for a visit with family at their room at the Boardwalk). My Dad said he couldn't get a room at the value resorts, even though he called the morning we were heading up! They only had this room for very, very cheap.
Anyway, it was a nice surprise!
I won't go through an entire trip report, but I got to go on Spaceship Earth and the Haunted Mansion for the first time in a long time.
I, like a lot of others, was very, very disappointed with the SSE refurb. I know they are capable of so much better!
HM looked amazing! It was so much more interesting in the places it needed to be without cheapening it.
After spending so much time in the parks, I now spend a lot of time just looking around and seeing what they're doing with the under/unused spaces they have available and the little nooks and crannies.
Odyssey and Wonders of Life in EPCOT?
The old Skyway stations in Magic Kingdom?
I did really love going into the One Man's Dream attraction and the (too small) EPCOT exhibits.
I'm just sort of wandering in my thoughts here, but I saw so much opportunity and I know everyone else here has an opinion on all of it. Just adding another voice.
