Pirates in Caribbean Party? More info please :)

I have been hearing a lot about this party. I'd like to know what goes on and how long it will be going on.

Pirates IN the Caribbean is an all evening event! It starts out with dinner having a Pirate theme. Everyone is encouraged to dress the part and come to dinner, where you have your napkin as a pirate bandanna that you can keep. Many times the servers will assist you in wearing your bandanna appropriately.

On 3 and 4 night cruises, there will be a stage show, then after both dinners and shows, you are invited to come to deck 9 and 10 midship (family pool area) and enjoy the deck party! There is much music and dancing, and mean pirates like Captain Hook attempt to take over the ship! Eventually, the ship is saved, by a very special Pirate! Then, the party ends with a BANG! Fireworks are set off on the starboard side of the ship! Its really awesome.

The deck party will last approx and hour and 15 min or so. You, then, can watch one of the PotC movies on deck 9 or 10 on the Dumbotron (Ariel TV) or on the Buena Vista theater. Note: movies could be different on deck or in the theater. After the party, there will also be a buffet on Deck 9 as well.

It is VERY fun. We enjoyed it quite a bit!

The Pirates IN the Caribbean Party is held on Deck 9 ... on the 3 night cruises, it's held the second night, after visiting Nassau.

The party begins with lots of high-energy dance music with the dances being led by the cruise staff and the characters in pirate gear. After a good 15 minutes of festivities, pirates take over the ship only to have a certain someone come and rescue us. The party culminates with fireworks shot off over the ocean (very cool).

Lots of people dress up in pirate garb themselves, but they also distribute pirate bandannas to everyone at dinner that evening. That same evening there is also a special menu in all the dining rooms (Page one and Page two). And just in case dinner doesn't fill you that night, there's a special buffet with food and some amazing looking desserts.

We watched from tables against the railing on deck 10 so that we were looking down on most of the action. And found out that there was a lot of action happening on deck 10 as well! This was a show that you definitely do not want to miss. It was a ball.
