Looking Forward ?

I see a lot of people are heading to WDW in the not too distant future (this year or next) as usual.

My question is, with all of the changes, updates, etc, what are the top 5 things (rides, shows, restaurants, gifts, etc) you are most looking forward to on your next trip to WDW?

This is a great post thank you. I would have to say my top 5 would be:

1. haunted mansion
2. AK ( never been there)
3.EE
4. Rockin Roller coaster
5. just being in the world again and with people who have never been and getting to see it for the first time all over again thru their eyes

9 days til departure!!!!!

My top 5 are (in no particular order):

-Seeing my son's face when we walk into the parks for the first time!

-Camping at FW for the first time. We're actually looking at bigger campers to buy within the next 9 days!

-Fireworks, parades and Fantasmic. We didn't get to do any of these the last time we went.

-EE. It wasn't there last time.

-Tower of Terror. Son was 5 last time and freaked out so much when he was on this, we didn't get to ride another ride for 2 days! He's actually excited about riding it again.

1) As this will be our first Christmas time trip, I am most looking forward to the decorations and the lights.

2) Quality time with my family in a place we all love.

5) That special feeling that I can't get anywhere except Disney.

We were just there last April, and there are so many new changes & attractions that I'm looking forward to this coming May!

1. Haunted Mansion changes
2. Spaceship Earth changes
3. El Rio Tiempo/Gran Fiesta changes (we didn't get to World Showcase last time)
4. Monsters Inc Laugh Floor (never seen it before)
5. Possibly Midway Mania will be open by then!

Great post! We'll be there from May 10-21, and haven't been since May 2006. I'm so excited!! My top five would be:

1. That special feeling that I can't get anywhere except Disney.
2. Haunted Mansion (to see the updates)
3. Pirates (was closed while we were there in 2006)
4. Expedition Everest
5. Space Mountain....it was the first roller coaster I ever rode, and it will always have a special place in my heart.

Of course, I'm also looking forward to eating at some new restaurants, and finally getting to try the Kitchen Sink Sundae!! No diet for me while we're there.

12 days until our return!!!

We are looking forward to:
1- Staying at POR for the first time.
2- Meeting my parents and going to the P&P with them.
3- Ohana's for the first time.
4- DW wants to try a Kitchen Sink at Beaches and Cream.
5- Being at Disney again!!!

In no particular order (other than the overall happiness of just being there):

Staying at WL - we have been wanting to ever since our honeymoon, when it was brand new (and we were flat broke), and finally we're doing it 14 years later (we'll be there on our anniversary)

Taking DD to BBB

Toy Story Mania

Getting DS on ToT

1) Going back to the WL where we honeymooned and having our anniversary dinner at Artist Point.

2) Hanging out with friends and family who (hopefully!) will meet us there.

3) The updates to Haunted Mansion

4) Staying in the BCV for the first time.

5) Buzz Lightyear!! I will beat your score this time!!

I haven't been there in 3 years. My DS hasn't been since he was 2 years old (he's now 5). He doesn't know we are going (going in May). I am looking forward to:

1. Him finding out when we finally surprise him
2. Seeing his face when he gets to see Cinderella Castle
3. Seeing his face when he gets to see fireworks for the very first time
4. Going on Soarin'. It wasn't built the last time we were there

Great topic. We're taking our newest addition for his first trip (he'll be about a year old). We're excited about introducing him to our love of Disney.

The last time we were at the World was Feb 2004. Upcoming trip April 2008! I'm sure there have been lots of changes since then! Listed in no particular order:

1. Epcot flower & garden show (I am big on gardening and have never been during this time)
2. Expedition Everest
3. Updates to Haunted mansion
4. Pool at POR, kids now old enough to swim and go on the water slide on their own
5. new Asian themed restaraunt in AK, can't remember what it's called

We just came back from a trip in December and here are the top five things I was looking forward to seeing during that trip:
1. Haunted Mansion update
2. POTC update
3. Sneak peek of Spaceship Earth
4. Finding Nemo musical show
5. Nemo & Friends Ride

I loved #'s 1 & 2, #3 was great on the way up and not so great on the way down, #'s4 & 5 - I thought these were cute.
