Default 7 nights at the Poly - Day 4

DisneyBarb - me
DH
DD - 11 (12 at the end of the month)
DS - 9 (mini me, totally gets the magic!)

This was to be the warmest day of the week for us. A "cold" front was coming in (I could not stop laughing at the graphics on the local weather with the word cool for the rest of the week posted under the low 70s). We headed off to Blizzard Beach after a lovely breakfast at Concourse. We went there for sticky buns and to use a sit down meal. Sticky buns were different and not covered, none the less they were good and worth it!

We made it Blizzard Beach by 11 and we had never been there before (closed on our previous 2 trips). Overall we thought it was more crowded than we expected and can't imagine what it would be like if it was warmer! The kids did almost all the slides and hubby and I watched except for the family raft ride which was great!

Counter Service meal was fine. Bus service was again very slow home but we got back to the Poly, changed and went to Epcot to walk around and get on Soarin before our ressies at San Angel Inn. We did Soarin, Figment, Honey I Shrunk the Audience, Maelstrom. Our meal at San Angel was great in atmosphere but we the steak was tough. The kids enjoyed their meals and I enjoyed my drink

We enjoyed the boat ride afterwards and the enhancements.

We walked around afterwards and then took a boat ride to MGM. While waiting the Cast member gave the kids nice trading pins (which we currently do not do) with Tinkerbell, it was a nice touch and a "magical moment".

We were able to many rides on ToT and RnR and Star Tours at MGM before calling it a night. I was hoping that just maybe the Osbourne lights may be on (they were all set up!).

It was a long but great day!

Overall thoughts

Blizzard Beach - We enjoyed the change, it was cool when you got out of the water so that is why the kids mostly did the slides. We miss the wave pool at Typhoon.

San Angel Inn - My daughter is 11 and was not happy to always order from the adults meals, this was the first place she could order from the kids menu which was great because she didn't like anything on the adult. They would go back.. which I was worried about!

Epcot - Never felt like we did everything we wanted the whole trip, maybe not doing Spaceship Earth doesn't complete the trip?

Weather - Perfect again!

A water park and two parks?! That's a lot of ground to cover in one day!

Nice day! The family raft ride at BB is much better than the one at TL. Lots of fun. And so much done at Epcot and Studios after a day at the water park. Thanks for sharing.
