Tony's Town Square during SpectroMagic

Has anyone ever ate on the patio at Tony's and been able to watch SpectroMagic from there?

I thought about this on our last trip as we were watching the parade and I saw the people dining on the patio at Tony's.
I was thinking about trying to coordinate this for our next trip and was wondering if it would work??

We dined on the patio during Spectro a couple of years ago and found it very disappointing. The view isn't all that great, you only are able to see the upper parts of the floats. And most disappointing was that we were totally unable to see any of Wishes.
If we were to have dinner at Tony's again it would be either earlier or later than right when Spectro is going on.

Not during the parade....but it's a must do at least once on our visits....great food.....

We were at Tony's last year during Spectro and they will not let ANYONE stand up to watch the parade!! We were inside and tried to go out onto the pation to watch and were rudely told to go back inside....a simple request would have sufficed. Then we saw the people who were eating on the patio standing up and the CM's telling them they HAD to be seated!!

We won't be back to Tony's anyway.....we were not thrilled with the food or the servicec.

You would only end up seeing parts of it we did about 5 years ago but it was nice just seeing that much while eating. We had already seen the parade from a better vantage point so it was just fun to see parts of it while eating.

We went this past August and ate there and the food and service was absolutely wonderful. We really enjoyed the meal. Our waiter was the best waiter we had all trip.

We were told many times that they do not take requests for seating, so I wouldn't bother to try seeing the parade from there for fear that we would miss it entirely. We both LOVE this restaurant though.
