1 - I'm not sure about bell services, as I usually only ever have one bag. But I would assume that yes, they will come pick it up for you if you needed.
2 - Rooms have various views, depending on what you like, but I would recommend a Pool View (the buildings 4-6, I believe or the 60's). The 70's aren't too bad either.
3 - Pop Century has an outdoor Twister over by the 70's area. The pools are fun with the water flower sprinklers. There is the Twist in the morning, the Hustle at night. Taking a walk on Memory Lane is nice and relaxing. You can sometimes see fireworks from Epcot if you are outside. The mood rings on the 70's building really changes with the temps.
4 - Midnight, 12 am. And they are pretty strict about it.

Question #2:
I would like to recommend the 50's section, rear side of the giant jukebox for the best room with a view. This area gives you a great view of Spaceship Earth, and you can see the fireworks from Illuminations at night. There was nothing better than waking in the morning, throwing open the curtains and seeing SSE !! And at night, we would pull our chairs out onto the "balcony" and enjoy watching the fireworks with the popcorn we had purchased in the park.
This area is also home to the Bowling Pin Pool.

The frozen cokes in the food court. You can use your refillable mug too.

I've heard (here) some say that poolside is noisy, but I really have to disagree. It's fabulous to get out there EARLY (between 5 and 6 am.) in the morning for a cup of coffee and watch the sun rise over the buildings.
It's really family oriented...bright...colorful.....everything that Disney does so well! The pooside bar is great too...and the bartenders have remembered us each time we've returned for the past 3 years.
I too am doing the countdown....24 days!!! (will be there Nov 7th thru 11th...after doing the Disney cruise the 4th to 7th)
