Default Photopass or not

I am wondering how many people use the Photopass or bring your own.

We use both. When we see a photopass photographer and we want a pic we have them take it with their camera and ours. At the end of the trip we see which pic we like better. Enjoy!

I take tons of pictures with my own camera and just a few with the photopass system. We usually just use the photopass when we want a "whole" group picture so none of us are behind the camera.

On this trip, we're using both. On our last trip, we used only our pictures.

Exactly.

Anyone who decides to leave the camera at home and rely solely on PhotoPass for all their vacation photos is in for a HUGE disappointment.

PhotoPass photographers are fairly stationary -- you go up to them. If you see a great photo opportunity and there's no PP photographer around, then you're out of luck. Plus, they aren't at the resorts or Downtown Disney.

Getting PP pics taken is free and there's no obligation to do or buy anything at all. WIth this knowledge in mind, I hope you'll realize that you don't have to decide whether you will use one or the other.

We use both. Photopass is great for the big photo spots (in front of the castle, in front of Spaceship Earth, etc) but you have to have your own camera for all of the other spur of the moment shots you want and for places outside of the parks. We also have the Photopass photographer take pics with our own camera, too, so we have more flexibility with the images. Definitely use both.

I use both now. I like the CD option with photopass but I still take a lot more pictures with my own camera.

We use both. We take a ton of pictures and we try to get as many photo pass pictures as possible.
