hey i jsut thought id see who you all predict to win this week on the first preseason week of the NFL. ill post this weeks schedule and you type the name of the team in bold that you think will win.

yes i know lol. i just want all the revenge i can get on the colts and peyton maning this year for beating my patriots in the AFC championship last year. and if they play like they did in that game it will be so easy especially for the patriots if dallas can beat em. other then that id thought id see the rest of intercots members predictions about this week.

Well in that case, my prediction is that no big-name players will be seriously hurt, which is really the most important thing about the first preseason game.

probably the most important thing for me about the pre-season is how well do the key players/stars of each team perform then i can make my predictions on about how many games we will win this regular season. i also view it as the extended training camp since they switch out most of the team throughout the game so they all get the chance to get experience.

Seem like the better the team the FEWER they win in preseason. Tony Dungy and Marvin Lewis both stated that they have NO intention on winning pre season games. They just want to work out the wrinkles and find out who will even be on the roster.

I forget what was the exact number, but I think on ESPN they were 1-10 in the preseason the past two years. Shows how little these games count when in '05 they won their first 13 games and then last year they won the Super Bowl.
