Daily Tip
For my upcoming trip 8-27-9/2, instead of carrying around my planning guides and little notes only to be crumpled up in my pocket, I printed out little buisness size cards with all the daily info I need for each park. My dining reservations and conformarmation numbers, what time the parks open, parades etc, which rides to ride first. They I laminated each of them and poked a hole in them this way I can wear each one around my neck along with my park passses. Hopefully this will work.

That sounds like a GREAT idea. It sure beats having to dig around in a backpack for all the info we bring into the parks with us!!

I always make index cards for each park, there are multiples for each park - being day 1 of MK, or WS & FW, etc. These cards have our PS's times & conf. #'s, EM hours, parade times, etc. They also have a loose "itenerary" for each park. I also include on each, our evening schedules for wherever we're going to be & dining info, night time event we're attending, etc. Sometimes we chuck the "plan", but having the info with us is helpful and the cards fit into the front pocket of my pack!
The non planners out there think we're crazy don'tcha know!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's really smart. I may have to adopt that for our next vacation. But rather than place it around my neck, I just make the note cards, lamanate them and hook them on our back-pack. Maybe pack some dry-erase markers to make note of any changes that go on throughout the day..i.e. ADR changes. Oh, I can't wait to do this...

I do the same thing although mine are a little bigger than business cards , maybe 3 x 4. And I didn't laminate them (my travel mates already think I'm a weirdo, so they don't need more ammunition) but that is a good idea.

Silly question, but how do you laminate items? Do you have to buy a laminating machine?

You can actually by clear laminating cards at office supply departments or stores. It's hard to explain. It's two pieces of clear plastic that are attached at one end. One of the pieces has adhesive and a paper backing. You put your item inbetween the pieces then remove the paper adhesive and stick them together. They can be cut to size.

My DH would kill me if I did this...ok...maybe a strong word...he would laugh at me histerically and think I was a complete and total FREAK!!!
However, it is a wonderful idea and will probably do it anyway...

You can also use clear CONTACT paper. I have done this for my son's baseball team rosters. Just put the card down and fold the CONTACT paper over it and press down to smooth out then cut to fit.
I too think DH would ship me off somewhere if I told him about the idea to make daily cards and laminate them!! (of course that doesn't mean I WON'T do it-which of course being the ubber planner I am I will!--just won't let him know about it til we're at WDW!)

Fabulous idea! I carried a binder of all my info with me to the hotel and took each page out for the day with me as well.
