Default Water Parks

I have 57 more days to go until I'm in WDW...and I'm spending the day today trying to make the "official plans"--I already have hotel reservations and air tix..so it's just the really fun stuff now...here's my question...we have never done the water parks and we are thinking that maybe this trip we should try them out..I have read that the capacity to the water parks fills up early (by 10 am) and they usually don't let anyone in until people start to leave (usually by 3pm). My plans were to use the water parks right around noon until 4ish. I'm just wondering now if I should even include the water parks on my park hopper in case it doesn't fit into our schedule. Are the water parks worth it or should we just use the resort pools?

I'll move this over the water parks forum where it will get the attention it deserves.

I am a big fan of the water parks. Our last trip we were there long enough to spend a day at each of the parks. But I have never been there at the busy time. Hopefully someone else can come by and answer your question. But I have read that a lot of people go in the mornings and leave halfway through the day.

We do not enjoy the water parks because they are just too crowded for our taste. We are not morning people so we do not get there early enogh to avoid the crowds. We loved River Counrty It was never very crowded (probably the reason it is now closed) and the characters were out and about. We now prefer to swim at the resort every afternoon.

I'm a huuuggge fan of the waterparks. I never thought I would like the idea of it but I went for the first time a few years ago and now everytime we go we go back. I enjoy it because my family is all older so we can enjoy all the slides and wave pool! Typhoon Lagoon is the favorite in this household but BB is equally exciting! I really think you would enjoy it... although I do recommend going early because all the chairs generally fill up rather quickly. Noon might be risking it... driving all the way there and getting rjected would be a waste. We usally go for openin and leave around 2-3....usually because we have dinner reservations at a buffet because swimming all day in the sun makes you REALLLLLY hungry haha I'd give the waterparks

It depends on whether you want to do the slides etc. If all you want to do is swim, I'd stick with the resort pool. But if you want more, you can always ask at your resort if they can check to see if they are letting people in before you go there. (Providing you are staying on property).
