May 17?

Does anyone know if anything is planned for May 17th? Anything like a premire, marathon or anything that would bring unusually high crowds? LOL I made the mistake once of not checking and it was during the marathon they do. Wow it was beyond crowded! Its my son's 6th birthday, so I want to be sure it will be in its "normal" day

I'll be there on the 17th! I don't know of anything special going on that day but the POTC World Premier is on May 19th. Not sure if there will be a lot of people coming in early (like me) for the premier. I'm hoping the 17th & 18th will be a little slower than the weekend will be!

me too!! Here's to hoping for a "typical" day and not too hot (as it's been LOL)

Only problem you might have is the New Orleans Square area. They start working on the bleachers and the big screen on the island a week before the Premiere, which is on May 19th. Pirates should still be open, but might be a lot on detours since bleachers go up in that area.

May 17th is a Grad Nite day so I'm pretty sure the park closes early that day.

Last time I checked the park closes at 8:00 on the 17th.

Yes, Disneyland closes at 8:00pm on the 17th, which is a typical closing time for a May weekday.
