DVC, MYW, DDP and ME (and me!)

We have a stay booked at BW - the proverbial 'rented' points.

As DVC guests can we...
1. Purchase MYW tickets?
2. Purchase the DDP?
(Can these wait 'til we check in?)
3. Book Magical Express?

And if so, HOW do I make those arrangements? I have the DVC confirmation from my 'host' with our names all set but I understand DVC will only talk to the member.

Yes, but you get no discount from DVC or the member - purchase in advance or from AAA for any discounts.

In fact, it has to be paid at check in, but needs to be booked by the member before you get there.

The member you're renting points for needs to book this for you as well - so have your flight info ready and share with him when you ask him to make these arrangements.

True - they won't do much for you if you call, even with the reservation #.

I don't mind purchasing MYW upon arrival but I thought resort guests were required to purchase at least one day's MYW to buy the DDP.

I understand my DDP puchase must = number of nights staying.

I'm sure my DVC member means well but he's new to the whole book for someone else thing.

That's true if you buy the DP as an add on to a CRO/WDWTC reservation. But DVC members (and their guests/renters) staying on points at a DVC resort do not need to buy tickets or even stay for a minimum number of nights. It's a great perk for members! Otherwise, the rules are the same - must buy for every night of your stay and for every member of your party
