April hours at Magic Kingdom
I've been going over historical park hours trying to plan our trip for next year and I've noticed that in April there are always a couple of days towards the end of April where Magic Kingdom closes at 630pm or 700pm...is there a specific reason for this? Grad nights? Thanks!

What are Grad nights? We are going next month and I was wondering why they close so early!

Grad Nights are just that...they close the park early so that the local Graduates from the various high schools can have a special night there. It is over 2 weekends and is both the Friday and Saturday night.

Basically, the park closes to regular guests. The high schoolers come on in and have the park all night long.

Does anyone know who will be performing for this year's grad night? I'm interested to know who the high schoolers will get to see.

When are the specific Grad Night's usually announced? Is it with the release of park hours?

I found out that The Fray, Cartel, Mario Vazquez, and Cassie are performing this year.
Does anyone know if they do a sound check during regular park hours? I really like The Frey and would love if I could see them perform during sound check.
