BOG Test for Lunch?
Don't know if it's been discussed and I apoligize if it has but we just got an email from Disney Destinations for a test run for BOG at lunch. You pick a time and a date and if its available it will link to your magic band. But here's the kicker you have to pre order your food at that time also. You get in the FP line and sit down at a table and by wearing your band they will bring the food to your table. I don't know about the rest of you but this is way too much planning for me. I never know where I want to eat let alone what I want to eat. Anyone else get this email or have taken advantage of this crazy idea?

We did this last November. However, we had the option to order food now, online, or to wait and order at the restaurant. We decided to order at the restaurant. We really liked having the FP option. The regular line was super long at the time we entered the FP line. This was Thanksgiving week of last year.

You don't have to pick your lunch. We have a FP for BOG for next Sunday and didn't gave to pick. There is a button you click for Expedited Arrival, you don't have to pre-select our lunch. I think Direct to Table is where you pre-select your lunch.

We signed up for it as you said. We did not get a confirmation # and it does not show up on my disney experience under dining or FP ??? We already had 3 FP's for MK and thought this was an extra due to being a test. Did yours show op on MDE?

We're doing the lunch Saturday - it doesn't show up on FP+ and does not affect your other fast passes. I went back into the e- mail like I wanted to make a change and everything showed up.
23 times since 1993 and still counting

No it does not show up on MDE. It is separate from your 3 FPs for MK. The only way to view it, if I remember correctly, is to log back on to the site where you booked it. When you put in your password it should bring you to the page that shows what date/time you have booked. I printed the page (or you could take a screen shot with your phone) to take with me incase we had issues.
