Default Animal kingdom lodge club level

What can anyone tell me about the animal kingdom lodge club level rooms? I am thinking about staying there in November and was wondering if they felt it was worth the cost over a moderate.

    Default club level

Wow - no replies to this - strange. I was upgraded to club level at the Yacht Club a few years ago and it was soooo nice. There are free food/apps/drinks all day/night long basically. Not full meals but enough to not have to buy breakfast or snacks throughout the day. We went last summer and paid for the club level at the GF, since it was on special for like $400 something. And with 8 of us, it was worth not having to buy breakfast and lunch for a few of the days, when we just hung out at pool, etc. The food was finger foods at the club level, you have a personal concierge to help with things, there is coffee all day, liquors at night, desserts... we really really enjoyed it. If you can do it, then do it, in my opinion. Depends on your stay though. If you're going to be in the parks all day, then maybe it won't be worth the cost. We only went to the parks one day and stayed on hotel property and did other things for the day before and after the day we went to the park. We were 2 nights there. Our free nespresso coffee's alone were probably worth a free $75 since we didn't buy Starbucks!! Hope that helps.

    Default AKL Club Level

You are greeted by a CM who gives you a safari bag with the traveling party's name on it with water a credentials inside. Then you are escorted up to the Club level lounge for check in. The food offerings are great, especially early evening when they bring selections up from the BOMA buffet. My wife and I made it dinner one night and it was plenty. Late evening cordials overlooking the lobby from high above....awesome. You are gonna love it.

Maybe if you're not on the dining plan but I don't think it is, upgrading from moderate to deluxe is well worth it though.

I don't think the rooms are any different are they? We stayed CL 3 years ago the rooms looked fairly standard. We liked club level but would never pay to do it again. We mainly used it for breakfast.

Way more than breakfast! Actually a fairly good deal! Breakfast that we used except when we had sit-downs. Snacks in the afternoon, snacks in the evening. Drinks are you're coming in after parks. Beer and wine included and some desserts at night. Good stuff too! I don't think they cheaped out on the food. Good luck and enjoy!

You get a few extras. Like turndown service in the evenings, robes in the room, additional Toiletries, DVD players, etc.

We stay CL as often as possible at WDW. We really enjoy the amenities.
